Why we love it
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for a stay in Mexico City. It is in the leafy area of Colonia Roma, which has loads of bars, restaurants, cafes and street life. Step out of the hotel and you can immediately get a fresh coconut to drink and tacos al pastor to munch on. You don’t have to break the bank staying in this area.
The hotel has an industrial look, with metal piping, chipboard and then very bright colours. We thought it was brilliant how they managed to make what are compact rooms really usable and comfortable. For example at the end of the bed there is a ledge that can become a work bench.
And there are electrical outlets everywhere! Not something all hotels consider, but something that is really useful when travelling with lots of things that need charging.
