We heard a lot of mixed stories about Napoli. On one hand: the drugs, maffia, pickpocketing, garbage
On the other hand: friendly people, pizza, ancient buildings, art, the ocean.
Our conclusion after a day in Naples, walking to the Castello from the neighbourhood Chiaia: Naples is beautiful. We didn’t see any evidence of the nasty side of it, at least not on this walk.

This is amazing and very interesting. There is so much to see and do and both of you have had a super experience with more to achieve. Well done.
thank you!
Hey Niek and Tanya!
What a nice possibility to follow your experiences!
I saw Europe is on your travel also: don’t forget France, specially Auch! They call the region the french Toscane… I would be happy to receive you in my new house in 2018!
Thank you Rieneke, that sounds great! Thank you for following us on our blog 🙂
Yes, I agree! I’m Italian, grew up in Roma, totally in love with Naples. I recommend visiting again on New Year’s Eve 🙂
Hey Annalisa. We ended up staying quite a while in Naples, found a really cute airbnb with a roof terrace and just relaxed in the city. I’m intrigued, what happens on New Years Eve?
